Trimmed with love

Yellow houses always look so happy.  I love the porch and the trim around the porch roof.

Yes, the stars are everywhere in the Northeast. Originally they were made by the Amish from reclaimed metal barn roofing. Now you can buy them in any gift store with a country flair. Originally the different colors had different meanings, but now it's just whatever the home-owner likes. It is still, however, seen as a sign of "friendliness".

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm kind of surprised I've only put up two houses with stars.
